B. Wiseman
Since I Quit Smoking I Don’t Know What to Do With My Hands.
Novelty photo/joke book created by cartoonist Bernard Wiseman and Sandy Brier. 1964. The Citadel Press. New York, 222 Park Ave South. Photographs by Joel Weber.
Sandy Brier has originated ten syndicated features, three sons (two of which are larger than he is), four books, two lines of novelty items, and has also drawn cartoons for every major magazine in this country.
Bernard Wiseman falls short of this record in some respects: He has only one syndicated feature, no sons, and no novelty items; but he has done more books (seven in all) and has appeared regularly in The New Yorker as well as in every other major magazine in this country.
Samples shown here are from Jem Magazine and Sick Magazine.
